My friend Greg Kruse made a wooden buck for a heat shield that he wanted shaped to go over the exhaust system he made. The exhaust goes over the rear fender, right down the middle. The heat shield will go over the exhaust pipes and be welded to the rear fender to keep some of the heat off of Greg when he is riding.

This is a picture of the fender and how I used backing tape with a high temperature cloth to keep the argon gas shielding the weld on the back side.
